Hostile Envirnoment Awareness Training (HEAT)

Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) is a comprehensive 5 day program designed to prepare individuals for working or traveling in high-risk or potentially dangerous environments. The training typically covers a wide range of topics, including personal security, risk assessment, emergency first aid, navigation, and crisis management. The goal of HEAT is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, avoid, and respond to potential threats or incidents.

 This training is often required for journalists, aid workers, and other professionals who may find themselves in conflict zones or areas affected by natural disasters.



 

 

 

The course consists of the following 9 modules:

Module 1. Situational Awareness

Module 2. Map Reading 

Module 3. Travel Security & Checkpoints

Module 4. Types of Ordnance 

Module 5. Defensive Driving

Module 6. Mine Awareness

Module 7. Kidnap & Randsom

Module 8. UXC

Module 9. Safe Weapon Handling

 

 

Cost £650.00 inc VAT which includes on site accommodation.

 We would expect you to arrive at the venue the night before the training begins.
